Subject: Love the New Jacket & Gloves!

Hi Martin,

Great to have now bought my 2nd jacket from you - can't see why I wouldn't need a 3rd or a 4th!

The Monza I bought a couple of years ago continues to give me great service & the matching pants are the most comfortable I have ever worn - especially happy that you could make them the correct length for me - they fit perfectly.

I am sure that I will get as much use (if not more) out of the Dominator - what a great jacket and a bit more versatile off the bike too!

The Kangaroo gloves are amazing - only problem is I now want the kangaroo jacket too……

Look forward to seeing you again soon

Best Wishes
Marcus

Martin,
Just checking out the website as I may need to order a FCJ. I assume I can order one with different coloured sleeves ??  Sorry about the 22nd as I would love to come down but Mark is away and we have a lot of work to finish prior to xmas. Still if it gets really quiet I still might be able to make it. As I was looking at the feedback page I have attached a photo of me at Eastern Creek in the black suit I got from you. It has been brilliant  and is very comfortable.  One more thing I am thinking of getting rid of the superduke for a 690 Enduro .
Do you still have the textile offroad jackets ?

Cheers and merry Christmas to the family,

Hi Martin,

Others have probably gone higher (Himalayas maybe???) in one of your jackets, but do they have the photo to prove it......???
4910m above sea level crossing the Andes. We crossed 5 times in total. Got a photo somewhere of me and Dakar car driver De Villiers (came third) and I am wearing the roo FCJ. I'll dig it out and send it.

Dakar was fabulous and Peru was even better than I expected, and included the best road I have ever gone for a fang on - 200 kms of twisties along a narrow valley floor on a very good surface between Nazca and Cusco. Had the F800GS BMW's dual purpose rear scrubbed to the edges in the dry........and 100kms of that was below zero and in sleet and snow. Two-wheel slides on ice, frozen hands, one massive near miss where I went into a right hander way too hot and had the ABS chattering front and rear as I pulled up a couple of metres short of a very steep drop. Awesome. Wouldn't take back a second of it, despite the frozen extremities.

Cheers

Martin,

I dressed the leathers with Renapur as you suggested. I like the soft
fragrance - some leather conditioners have a much stronger and harsher
smell. I tried to use it sparingly as the as directed but after being caught
in a brief shower yesterday, I realised they still needed more. After they
were fully dried I gave the jacket and gloves a more generous serve of
Renapur - the 51 Roo jeans did not seem to need more dressing. Maybe it was
not so noticeable because of the darker colour.

I have included two picture taken by my wife. They were taken in between the
first and second dressings, yesterday morning. The colour still looks the
same after the second dressing. I have shed a couple of kilos after some
heavy duty gardening lately, so the leathers may look a little looser than
normal (I will almost certainly find the missing kilos sooner or later). I
am very pleased with the fit - they are comfortable whether I am cruising
with Maree on the Harley or carving up the local ranges solo on the Ducati.
The gloves have loosened enough to wear silk liners underneath in cold
weather, allowing warm fingers with good dexterity and feel for the hand
controls. I am also happy with the natural colours and classic style - they
go well with bikes I ride, as well as in their own right. Thank you for my
fine 'roo leathers - they are just what I wanted.

Cheers,
Michael.

hi Martinn,

I finally got around to taking the photograph. Didn't realise I was squinting until we got the photos onto the computer. Lets just say I am basking in the glory of the jacket.

Having taken it for a few rides now, I am really impressed. It is extremely comfortable and the pockets are brilliant. My mates and coworkers are very impressed (even if some of them have taken to calling me Biggles).

again, many thanks for the jacket. It is an absolute beauty.

cheers,

Cameron

Subject: Question re bike gear

Good morning,
I've just been browsing your website and I'm interested in both your GT road master jacket and your '51 rooskin jeans - however;

I prefer made to measure as off the peg sizing just doesn't always fit right for me nowadays.
I'd also like the '51 jeans in the same black naked cowhide of the GT road master jacket and if possible and have the jeans cut so that they can be worn inside tallish boots - so possibly tapered like the Donningtons, with a zip at the calf. Is this doable?

I'm assuming the naked cowhide is the leather that almost feels like its been waxed and is very flexible.

If the above is feasible, I'm happy to drive / ride down to Rosebud for measurements. I live in the Upper Yarra , just east of Warburton.

Joe Tye

Subject: Monza Jacket

G'day Guys, I recently bought a Monza jacket from Motociclo in Sydney, great jacket and I love it.
However to give something to aspire to and to save up for, I wonder if you could tell me how much
the Monza would cost if made in Roo skin? Also would I have to have it specially made, or do you
keep them in stock? I would like if possible a size 44 with the liner in, exactly the same as the stock
one that I've just bought. Thanks for your time. Regards, Mick Moore.

Got the jacket early Wednesday morning Martin; it's magnificent. Can't praise the quality of materials and construction enough. The quilted liner is perfect in what is building as a fairly cold Perth winter.

I am keen on getting a pair or two of your gloves, how are your sizes run and what are the prices? I'm sorry if I've missed these on your web site.
